Lifestyle photography
for the colourful and creative

Photos are stories made tangible

I create bright, intimate photos that are full of life and carry a timelessness only film can deliver. And I do it all in services of capturing who you really are in this moment.

Welcome!

I’m an Ontario-bred, BC-based film photographer, and I’m glad you’re here.

I love cold water, good light and bright colours.

With camera in hand, I can’t wait to capture all your favourite things.

Every frame I shoot is in service of capturing who you really are right now. There’s beauty and value in this moment in time, no props needed.
Somebody down the road, whether it’s your kids, grandkids, or your own future self, will find these photos and will get to live in these moments for a little while. I shoot with that person in mind.

If I asked you how many times you're going to see your out-of-town friends and family, for the rest of your life, what number would you give?
When @youboubargrill requested a brand photo collection that included action shots I was already stoked. When they told me we were going to do it with Salt Spring mussels, I knew we were all just going to have a really good day.
Valentine’s Day sunrise hike with my love, my family (minus the cat obvs. No way he was getting up that early) up on Swuqus.
My beloved Hasselblad and I just popping in to say the January newsletter will be going out tomorrow (when I promise I'm very lax on my email newsletter sending, I deliver!) which means now is an excellent time to sign up to get it. Link in the usual place.
The week of Dec 6, the day where we all list the names of the women murdered in Montreal 33 years ago, seems like a good time to talk about solidarity and interconnectedness.
Alex and Richelle's micro wedding! This wee ceremony came together in a flash, and we only had an hour together, but I think that's all we needed. Guests were just a handful of beloved family members, all wearing matching cedar roses Richelle made. Alex opened the ceremony with a song from his native Guam, with Richelle joining in. When it was all done, everyone went to the Doghouse for dinner. A delight from start to finish.
