for the colourful and creative
I’m an Ontario-bred, BC-based photographer, and I’m glad you’re here.
I love cold water, good light and bright colours.
With camera in hand, I can’t wait to capture all your favourite things.
i don’t expect your whole house to be painted white
Every frame I shoot is in service of capturing who you really are right now. There’s beauty and value in this moment in time, no props needed.
Somebody down the road, whether it’s your kids, grandkids, or your own future self, will find these photos and will get to live in these moments for a little while. I shoot with that person in mind.

Hi! It’s me! Occasionally I load a roll of film in a camera I don’t use very often and shoot it slowly, so that by the time I get it developed the first half at least is a pleasant surprise. The roll I got back today had a mini-self-portrait session I did one morning when the light coming into the apartment looked especially nice. This one’s my favourite. I’ll pop a couple more in my stories if you want to see
I've been looking for a project, and since all I can think about lately is the food around here, I've decided that project will be a wild food project! To start it off I've a posted on the blog a sort of round-up of my favourite wild food photos to date.
Becoming a little bit obsessed with Arbutus trees. They really know what they like.
