Spring is here and that means spring mini sessions! The blossoms are out in full force. I’ve pulled out my box of summer dresses. I’ve got a fridge full of film and I’m not afraid to use it.
I know it’s only Fake Summer and we have some rain ahead of us (not to mention June-uary) but I’m a firm believer in making hay (photos) while the sun shines (there’s a break in the rain), so we’re forging ahead with spring minis!
Saturday, May 8 at Queen Elizabeth Park.
The date is May 8. So close to Mother’s Day it’ll make a great gift for a mom or parent-to-be in your life, a way to celebrate yourself (either with kids or just for you!) or just a reason to make a little time amidst the chaos to mark the season. Spring mini sessions are super versatile, and QE Park is looking very spiffy these days.
I’ve decided to keep it very simple this year.
Here’s how it will go:
- 20 minutes
- one roll of film
- (light) rain or shine
- $150

Overcast days make the bright flowers pop, and #rainlife is real, so barring a deluge we won’t let the weather hold us back.
